# Bring your history from Natural Cycles

If your Natural Cycles Apple Health sync is on, your periods are already in Health, and Niyora reads them when you connect it. For a full copy, ask Natural Cycles for your data and open the file in Niyora.

## The short answer

- 01 Natural Cycles writes period, flow and spotting to Apple Health when its sync is on. Niyora reads them from there.
- 02 For a full copy, request your data on Natural Cycles’ website. It arrives by email as a ZIP of CSV files.
- 03 Open the ZIP in Niyora, check what it found, then import.

## Already in Apple Health

Natural Cycles writes period, flow and spotting to Apple Health when its sync is on, so connecting Apple Health in Niyora brings those periods across with no file. Natural Cycles’ help page doesn’t say whether periods you logged before turning on the sync are written too, so look at Cycle History in the Health app.

Step by step

## Step 1: get your data from Natural Cycles

Natural Cycles sends your data by email when you ask for it. These are the steps on its help pages.

- 1 ### Request your data On Natural Cycles’ website, open its data download form and log in with your Natural Cycles account.
- 2 ### Wait for the email Natural Cycles emails you a ZIP of CSV files, including a file of your daily entries. Its English help page says this can take up to 30 days.
- A second email brings an activity log. Niyora needs only the first one, with your daily entries.

- 2 ### Enter the password, if asked If Niyora says This file is locked, enter the password your old app sent you and tap Open the file. Niyora asks once and never keeps it.
- 3 ### Check what Niyora found Niyora reads the file on your phone, and nothing is uploaded. Here is what Niyora found shows your periods and the dates they cover.
