Women with PMS

## What they did

Systematic review and meta-analysis of psychotherapy for PMS. Searched Medline via PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, and Iranian databases without date restriction until March 13, 2018. Two authors assessed study quality and extracted data from 7 trials.

## What they found

Depression level showed a standardized mean difference of -0.978, indicating reduction. The abstract ends before reporting the p-value or findings on anxiety or other outcomes.

## What it means for you

This suggests psychotherapy may reduce depression in PMS, but the incomplete abstract prevents full interpretation. The study examined psychotherapy for PMS-related mood symptoms, but conclusions cannot be drawn without the complete findings.
