Does PEAOID supplement reduce PMS pain and mood symptoms?
A manufacturer's technical report claims that 1200 mg of PEAOID daily for 90 days produced large reductions in pelvic pain and mood-related symptoms, with no serious side effects reported.
What they did
Women took 1200 mg of PEAOID daily for 90 days. Researchers measured pelvic pain on a standard pain scale, tracked mood and irritability symptoms, and measured inflammation markers in the blood.
What they found
Pelvic pain scores decreased from an average of 74.2 to 22.4 on a 100-point scale. Mood and irritability symptoms decreased. Two inflammation markers decreased. No serious side effects were reported. Approximately 96.6 out of 100 women completed the full 90-day treatment.
What it means for you
According to the manufacturer, PEAOID appears to substantially reduce both pelvic pain and mood symptoms. However, this is the company's own technical document rather than an independent peer-reviewed study, so there is no control group for comparison and no independent verification. The very large improvements should be interpreted with caution until confirmed by independent researchers.

DOCUMENT TYPE: Technical White PaperISSUED BY: Scientific Communications & Regulatory Affairs Division, Aurora Farmabio Pvt. Ltd. ABSTRACT: Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) presents complex, multi-systemic therapeutic challenges in women's healthcare, driven primarily by late luteal phase progesterone withdrawal and subsequent mast cell hyper-degranulation. This technical white paper characterizes the material properties and multi-channel molecular bioactivity of PEAOID®—a highly purified, unformulated cannabimimetic fatty acid amide active substance (Palmitoylethanolamide). Operating via direct nuclear receptor Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor-alpha (PPAR-alpha) agonism, the Autacoid Local Inflammation Antagonism (ALIA) cellular mechanism, and indirect endocannabinoid enhancement via competitive Fatty Acid Amide Hydrolase (FAAH) inhibition, PEAOID® effectively stabilizes hyper-responsive tissue structures. KEY CLINICAL TRIAL FINDINGS: • Visceral Analgesia: A daily cyclical dose of 1200 mg of unformulated PEAOID® results in a statistically significant 70.2% reduction in peak pelvic pain indices over a 90-day window (mean VAS scores dropping from 74.2 ± 6.8 mm to 22.4 ± 4.1 mm, p < 0.001). • Somatopsychic Stabilization: Systemic distress metrics (Daily Record of Severity of Problems [DRSP]) tracking irritability and luteal mood shifts decreased by 64.5%. • Biochemical Verification: Fluid biomarker tracking confirmed a 52.1% reduction in local Prostaglandin F2alpha (PGF2alpha) and a 48.6% drop in circulating Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha (TNF-alpha). • Safety Profile: 0% serious adverse events (SAEs) reported; hepatic and renal metabolic panels remained optimal with a 96.6% treatment compliance rate. FORMULATION & GENOMIC SYNERGY: This dossier details the advanced upstream genomic synergy achieved when pairing the down-stream mast cell stabilization of PEAOID® with the registered plant-derived Cholecalciferol active Vegiferol® to suppress nuclear Cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) expression. Manufacturing guidelines for clean-label hard capsules, high-capacity softgels, and bi-layer compressed tablet matrices are included. INTENDED AUDIENCE: This dossier is intended for product managers, procurement teams, formulation scientists, and regulatory affairs executives evaluating premium raw materials for women's health, gynecology, and functional food consumer applications.
